Goa, April 18 -- The House Listing and Housing Census phase of Census 2027 has commenced in Mormugao taluka of South Goa district.

Field officials, including nodal officers, supervisors, and enumerators, have begun door-to-door visits to collect data from residents as part of the initial phase of the nationwide census exercise. The process focuses on gathering essential information related to households and housing conditions.

Authorities stated that the exercise is a crucial step in compiling accurate demographic data and planning future development initiatives. Residents have been urged to extend full cooperation to officials to ensure the smooth and efficient completion of the survey.
