Goa, May 1 -- CCTV footage helped the Crime Branch crack the dacoity case, said SP Rahul Gupta. He added that the cases were highly serious, and the team continuously tracked the accused. After the Mapusa dacoity, police followed their trail as far as Hyderabad, with teams also deployed in Kolkata, Meghalaya, and Tripura. Although the accused initially managed to escape, they had already been identified, and their photographs, along with CCTV footage, finally helped the police arrest them.
