Goa, May 27 -- The Corporation of the City of Panaji (CCP) has withdrawn the permission earlier granted to the "Enough is Enough" movement for its proposed public meeting at Azad Maidan scheduled on May 30, which marks Goa Statehood Day.

According to an official communication issued by the CCP Administrative Section, the permission was revoked due to a proposed government exhibition planned at the venue as part of the Goa Statehood Day celebrations.

Reacting to the development, organiser and co-group member Francis Coelho alleged that the cancellation reflected growing unease within the establishment over the public response received by the movement.
