Goa, Sept. 28 -- Casino Majestic Paradise director Srinivas Nayak has filed an intervention application before the High Court in a petition filed by Satish Shinde, one of the accused in the casino shootout case.

Shinde has challenged the police remand order, alleging that his arrest was illegal. Nayak has now sought to intervene in the proceedings related to the petition.

The High Court is scheduled to hear the matter on Wednesday. Further arguments are expected during the hearing on Shinde's challenge to the remand order and the circumstances surrounding his arrest.
