Goa, May 1 -- A road accident at Karyamoddi in Curchorem involving a car and a motorcycle resulted in major damage to both vehicles and minor injuries to the biker. According to locals, the motorcycle rider was allegedly talking on the phone and drifted onto the wrong side of the road, leading to the collision.

The impact caused significant damage, but the rider escaped with minor injuries and was shifted to a nearby hospital for treatment. Curchorem police reached the spot soon after the incident and conducted a panchanama. Further investigation is underway to ascertain the exact cause of the accident and verify eyewitness accounts.
