Goa, Aug. 3 -- A delegation of local youth led by councillor Shubham Komarpant has submitted a representation to the Assistant District Educational Inspector (ADEI), Canacona, objecting to the participation of school students in a foundation-stone laying ceremony attended by Minister Ramesh Tawadkar. Citing provisions of the Right to Education (RTE) Act, 2009, the delegation alleged that involving students during school hours violates educational norms and raises safety concerns. Copies of the complaint have also been sent to the Director of Education and the Governor of Goa, seeking action to prevent similar incidents in future.
