Goa, Aug. 21 -- The Village Panchayat of Calangute on Thursday sealed four business establishments at Saunta Vaddo for allegedly operating without valid documents and permissions from the Panchayat or other competent authorities.

The establishments sealed were Legion VIII Roman Speakeasy Bar, Karma, Cape Town Cafe/Downtown, and Haveli By Club Miami.

According to notices issued by the Panchayat, the establishments had previously been served notices under Section 72-A of the Goa Panchayat Raj Act, 1994, directing them to produce the required documents and permissions.
