India, March 12 -- The Calangute Village Panchayat has launched a new initiative titled 'Susegad Wednesday' at the Calangute Saturday Market to provide a platform for local vendors to showcase and sell their products.

Under the initiative, the market will now also operate every Wednesday evening, giving local entrepreneurs and small businesses an additional opportunity to reach residents and tourists.

According to the panchayat, 'Susegad Wednesday' will be held every Wednesday from 5.30 pm onwards, allowing vendors to display a variety of products including food items, handicrafts and other locally made goods.
