Calangute Guest House Murder: Mapusa Court Sends Woman Accused to Five Days' Police Custody
Goa, July 4 -- The Judicial Magistrate First Class (JMFC) Court in Mapusa has remanded Akshata M.K., a native of Mangaluru, to five days of police custody in connection with the alleged murder of Sandeep Salian.
Salian was found dead under suspicious circumstances at a guest house in Calangute, following which the police launched an investigation into the case.
The accused was produced before the Mapusa JMFC Court, which granted the investigating agency five days of police custody to facilitate further investigation.
Police are expected to question the accused and gather additional evidence to determine the circumstances leading to Salian's death.
