Brendan Taylor overtakes Sachin Tendulkar as longest-serving ODI player
Goa, Sept. 15 -- Zimbabwe veteran Brendan Taylor has moved past Sachin Tendulkar to become the longest-serving player in men's ODI history, achieving the milestone during Zimbabwe's first ODI against Australia in Harare on Tuesday.
Taylor's ODI career has now stretched to 22 years and four months, edging ahead of Tendulkar's 22 years and three months. Tendulkar's illustrious ODI career ended in 2012, while Taylor's latest appearance has extended his remarkable journey in international cricket.
