India, Feb. 24 -- Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant met the protesters and the MLA of the St Andre constituency at Azad Maidan and urged him to call off his hunger strike. The CM assured that the issues would be discussed in the Goa Legislative Assembly. Sawant appealed to the public to end the protest, stating that the concerns could be addressed through discussion in the Assembly.
