Goa, Nov. 3 -- The Bombay High Court at Goa has issued notices to Calangute MLA Michael Lobo and several government authorities in connection with a Public Interest Litigation (PIL) alleging illegal construction and environmental damage within the No Development Zone (NDZ) of Anjuna-Vagator.

The petition, filed by local activist Desmond Alvares, challenges construction activities on properties bearing Survey Nos. 354/1, 340/0 and 340/1, which fall within the Coastal Regulation Zone (CRZ-III).
