Goa, Sept. 20 -- The Bombay High Court has issued notices to the Goa government, Crime Branch and other respondents on a petition filed by former Goa Chief Minister Digambar Kamat in the 2015 Louis Berger bribery case. Kamat has challenged a trial court order rejecting his plea to arraign three chargesheet witnesses as accused. The three individuals are Ramprasad Malladi, Sanjay Jindal and Prasanna Shah.

During the hearing, Kamat's lawyer argued that the three witnesses should also face charges, referring to statements allegedly indicating their involvement in the bribery transaction.
