Goa, May 19 -- The Board of Control for Cricket in India on Tuesday announced a 15-member squad for the upcoming three-match ODI series against Afghanistan, scheduled to begin on June 14 in Dharamsala. Young opener Shubman Gill has been handed the captaincy as India begin preparations for the 2027 ODI World Cup cycle.Senior stars Rohit Sharma and Hardik Pandya were included in the squad after days of speculation surrounding their availability. However, the BCCI clarified that both selections remain subject to fitness clearance.
