Goa, Aug. 26 -- Dabolim Airport Police have registered an FIR against BJP Yuva Morcha president Tushar Kelkar and several other BJYM members in connection with a protest held during Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge's visit to Goa on August 17.

According to police, Kelkar and the others have been booked for allegedly participating in an unlawful assembly and refusing to disperse despite directions from the police.

The case relates to the protest staged by BJYM members during Kharge's visit. Police have initiated an investigation into the incident and are examining the circumstances surrounding the protest and the alleged defiance of police orders.
