Panaji, Sept. 11 -- Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant has expressed confidence that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) will retain power in the 2027 Goa Assembly elections, attributing the government's prospects to improved infrastructure and youth-focused policies.

Sawant said Goa has witnessed a "pro-incumbency" sentiment under the BJP-led government, which he attributed to development initiatives and policies aimed at creating opportunities for the state's youth.

Describing the BJP's governance as a "fast train", Sawant said there would be "no coming back once you sit," while asserting that the party is on course for another electoral victory in 2027.
