Goa, July 1 -- BJP spokesperson rejects allegations of a Rs.100-crore campaign and expresses confidence in the party's grassroots strength ahead of the Assembly polls.

BJP Goa spokesperson Siddhesh Sripad Naik has alleged that the Congress party weakened significantly in the State during Girish Chodankar's tenure as Goa Pradesh Congress Committee (GPCC) president between 2018 and 2022.

Addressing the media, Naik claimed that several Congress office bearers resigned while Chodankar was leading the party. He also questioned the circumstances surrounding the defection of Congress MLAs during that period, suggesting it reflected poorly on the party's leadership.
