Goa, April 10 -- Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Friday unveiled the Bharatiya Janata Party's manifesto, titled 'Sankalp Patra', for the upcoming West Bengal Assembly elections, promising major welfare measures and governance reforms if the party comes to power in the state.
Describing the manifesto as a roadmap for building "Sonar Bangla," Shah said the BJP's promises were designed to benefit women, youth, farmers and government employees while bringing Prime Minister Narendra Modi's welfare model to the state.
