Goa, July 21 -- BJP leaders, along with local residents, staged a protest at MES College Junction in Zuarinagar on Monday, demanding immediate attention to several long-pending civic issues in the area.

The protesters called for urgent hotmixing of internal roads, improved access to shops affected by the National Highway expansion, construction of footpaths and drainage gutters, installation of a sewerage network with a sewage treatment plant (STP), and regular garbage collection.
