Goa, May 13 -- A student of BITS Pilani was found dead at a paying guest accommodation in Verna, prompting an investigation by Verna Police Station.

According to sources, a note was reportedly recovered from the spot. Police have initiated inquiries to ascertain the circumstances surrounding the death.

Officials stated that further investigation is underway, and all angles are being examined as part of the probe.

Sources also informed that this is reportedly the seventh such case involving a student from the institute, raising concerns over student well-being and mental health support systems.
