Goa, Oct. 15 -- Local police in Gaya have arrested a man for the brutal murder of his father, a grocery store owner battling blood cancer. The accused, identified as Chandan Raj, allegedly bludgeoned his father to death while transporting him home from a hospital session, motivated by a property dispute tied to a romantic relationship.

The victim, Krishna Gupta, was reported missing alongside his son from the Vishnupad police area on September 25.
