India, March 13 -- The Government of Goa Home Department has announced a special registration window for children of freedom fighters who could not register earlier under the government employment scheme introduced in 2013.

According to officials, the initiative is aimed at giving eligible applicants one final opportunity to enroll under the scheme. The special registration drive will allow candidates whose parents are officially recognised as freedom fighters to submit their applications during the designated period.
