Goa, Oct. 6 -- After a four-year absence from the international setup, veteran fast bowler Bhuvneshwar Kumar has staged a remarkable return to India's T20I squad. The 36-year-old pacer has been named by the BCCI's senior selection committee for the upcoming five-match series during India's tour of New Zealand, which gets underway on October 22, 2026, at Christchurch's Hagley Oval.

Bhuvneshwar's last appearance for India also took place in New Zealand back in November 2022, immediately following the T20 World Cup.
