Goa, May 21 -- The case surrounding the death of Twisha Sharma took a more serious turn on Wednesday after a local court in Bhopal rejected her family's plea seeking a second autopsy.

Twisha Sharma, 33, was found hanging at her matrimonial home on May 12, just five months after marrying lawyer Samarth Singh. The incident has sparked widespread concern and allegations of abuse from her family members.

Her father, Navnidhi Sharma, alleged that his daughter had been facing multiple forms of harassment and abuse, including physical abuse, at her in-laws' residence.
