Goa, April 30 -- Exit poll projections for Assam have indicated a strong and decisive advantage for the ruling alliance, with multiple agencies suggesting that the Bharatiya Janata Party-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) is on course to secure a comfortable majority in the state. According to Today's Chanakya, the NDA is expected to win around 102 seats, with a possible variation of nine seats on either side, along with an estimated 50 per cent vote share (±3 per cent). The projection reinforces a broader trend reflected across several exit polls, many of which suggest that the alliance is likely to form the government for a third consecutive term in Assam.
