BCCI Makes Special Arrangement for Vaibhav Sooryavanshi, Invites Parents on Overseas Tours
Goa, June 7 -- The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has taken a unique step to support young batting sensation Vaibhav Sooryavanshi by requesting his parents to accompany him on upcoming tours to Sri Lanka and the United Kingdom. The decision comes shortly after the 15-year-old earned his maiden call-up to India's T20I squad.
Recognising that Vaibhav is still a minor and will be joining an adult international squad for the first time, the BCCI has made special provisions to ensure his comfort and well-being during the tours. If he makes his debut, Vaibhav could become India's youngest-ever international cricketer, surpassing Sachin Tendulkar's long-standing record of debuting at 16 years and 207 days.
