Goa, Sept. 1 -- Aviation turbine fuel (ATF) prices for domestic airlines have been increased for the second consecutive month, adding to the fuel costs faced by the aviation sector.

The price of ATF has risen by 5.46%, or Rs.6.28 per litre, increasing from Rs.115.00 to Rs.121.28 per litre.

The consecutive monthly hike is likely to put additional pressure on airlines' operating costs, as ATF remains one of the major expenses for the aviation industry.
