Goa, Sept. 23 -- The government has reopened a key connection around the Porvorim Elevated Corridor to ease traffic congestion and improve connectivity between Porvorim and Panaji.

According to an SP Traffic advisory, motorists travelling from Merces towards Porvorim and Calangute can now use the Atal Setu from the Merces side, with the revised traffic arrangement coming into effect from today.

However, two-wheelers are excluded from using this route.

Motorists using the Atal Setu from Merces must exit near Hotel Neo Majestic in Porvorim, before reaching the entry point of the Porvorim Elevated Corridor.
