Goa, Oct. 13 -- An Assolda resident was admitted to Goa Medical College (GMC) with severe head injuries after suffering a crash caused by severe potholes and hazardous road conditions in the Assolda Panchayat area. Addressing the incident, Assolda Sarpanch Custodio Fernandes voiced deep concern over the deteriorating infrastructure, citing inadequate road restoration and substandard hotmixing work. He further highlighted the danger posed by unmaintained junctions. Local residents continue to demand immediate repairs and stricter quality checks to prevent further casualties on these risky stretches.
