Goa, Aug. 3 -- The wife of Assistant Jailor Ramanath Gawade has alleged that sustained workplace harassment by senior prison officials drove her husband to take his own life and has sought the registration of an FIR against those she holds responsible.

In her complaint, she has called for a comprehensive investigation into the circumstances surrounding Gawade's death and the alleged role of the officials concerned.
