Arvind Kejriwal Alleges Goa's Healthcare System Has Collapsed, Urges Adoption of Punjab Model
Goa, July 4 -- Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) National Convenor Arvind Kejriwal on Saturday alleged that Goa's healthcare system has collapsed, accusing the state government of failing to provide adequate medical facilities to residents.
Addressing the media, Kejriwal claimed that Goa Medical College (GMC) is overcrowded, forcing many patients to travel long distances in search of treatment.
He also alleged that the Institute of Psychiatry and Human Behaviour (IPHB), popularly known as the ID Hospital in Ponda, lacks essential medical equipment and has non-functional lifts, causing hardship and inconvenience to patients and their families.
