Goa, June 14 -- TCP Minister Vishwajit Rane has stated that nearly 10 crore square metres of land in Salcete is proposed to be brought under the No Development Zone (NDZ) category. According to Rane, the move is intended to address land-use planning issues that originated during the Congress government's tenure. He said the proposal was driven by requests from several village panchayats in Salcete seeking greater protection for environmentally sensitive areas.
