Goa, April 8 -- Anjuna Police have arrested a 35-year-old man, Akhilesh Kumar, in connection with a series of alleged mobile phone thefts in Siolim.

Acting on a complaint filed by a local resident, police launched an investigation that led to the apprehension of the accused. During the operation, officers recovered six mobile phones believed to have been stolen from his possession.

Police officials stated that further investigation is underway to determine whether the accused is linked to additional theft cases in the area.
