Goa, June 8 -- Anant M. Ambani's appointment as a whole-time executive director of Reliance Industries Limited (RIL) has received overwhelming shareholder support, with 94.4 per cent voting in favour of the move.

The youngest son of Reliance chairman Mukesh Ambani, Anant assumed the role on May 1, 2025, for a five-year term. Before taking on executive responsibilities, he served as a non-executive director on the company's board.

A graduate of Brown University, Anant has become widely known for his work in wildlife conservation and animal welfare.
