Goa, July 4 -- Congress leader Amit Patkar has asserted that his political battle is against the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), and not against Goa Pradesh Congress Committee (GPCC) President Girish Chodankar.

Speaking to the media, Patkar reiterated his commitment to the Indian National Congress, stating that he would continue to work for the party despite ongoing political developments.

"The fight is against the BJP, not the GPCC President," Patkar said, emphasizing that the party's focus should remain on challenging the ruling BJP.
