Goa, June 2 -- Former Youth Congress Working President Mahesh Nadar has voiced strong disappointment over the removal of Amit Patkar as Goa Congress president, describing the decision as a major setback for party workers, particularly younger members. Nadar said Patkar was replaced without any wrongdoing being attributed to him and without prior communication to those within the organisation.

According to Nadar, many workers who stood by the party during difficult times now feel demoralised by the leadership change. He also questioned the sincerity of certain leaders who are currently advocating unity, alleging that several of them remained inactive during the last four-and-a-half years when the party needed support.
