Amboli Waterfall Closed to Tourists as Heavy Rains Raise Water Levels
Goa, Aug. 5 -- The main Amboli Waterfall has been temporarily closed to tourists after heavy rainfall caused water levels to rise to dangerous levels, prompting authorities to restrict access as a precautionary measure.
Officials have barred visitors from entering the waterfall area to ensure public safety amid the strong water flow and changing weather conditions.
Despite the closure, large numbers of tourists continue to flock to the popular monsoon destination and are viewing the waterfall from the roadside, where access remains open.
Authorities have urged visitors to cooperate with safety measures and avoid entering restricted areas until water levels recede and conditions become safe for reopening.
