Goa, July 11 -- The All Goa Rent-a-Cab Association on Friday urged the government to take strict action against illegal private vehicles operating as rent-a-cabs, alleging that unauthorized operators are hurting licensed businesses while compromising passenger safety. Addressing a press conference, association members raised concerns over weak enforcement, road safety risks, and unfair competition, and called on authorities to intensify checks and ensure that only legally registered rent-a-cab operators are allowed to provide services.
