Goa, May 26 -- Aleixo Reginaldo Lourenco has expressed deep sorrow over the passing of Fr Bolmax Pereira, describing him as a thoughtful and principled individual who inspired many through his words and actions.

Lourenco said he frequently engaged in discussions with Fr Bolmax on various social and community issues and admired his clear and firm outlook on matters concerning society.

"He believed that what is good is good and should be appreciated without hesitation," Lourenco stated while remembering the late priest.

He further said that Fr Bolmax's teachings, ideas, and commitment towards truth and justice had positively influenced many young people in the community.
