Goa, April 18 -- The foundation stone for a key drainage repair project in Aldona was laid on Friday, marking the start of long-awaited infrastructure improvements in the village.

The project involves the repair of gutter drainage from the residence of Premnath Polle to the pond at Podwal in Ward No. 8 of Village Panchayat Aldona, and is being undertaken under the MLA-LAD Scheme.

The programme was attended by Carlos Álvares Ferreira, along with the Sarpanch and panch members of the village panchayat.
