Air India Passenger Faces No-Fly Ban After Allegedly Breaking Aircraft Window During Chandigarh-Delhi Flight
Goa, June 10 -- An Air India passenger is under scrutiny after allegedly breaking the inner pane of an aircraft window during a flight from Chandigarh to Delhi, prompting the airline to initiate disciplinary proceedings that could result in the individual being placed on India's no-fly list.
The incident occurred aboard flight AI1879 on June 7 as the aircraft was preparing to land at Delhi airport. According to airline officials, the passenger reportedly ignored multiple warnings issued by the cabin crew before damaging the window.
Officials stated that the passenger received several verbal and written cautions from the crew but failed to comply, ultimately smashing the inner glass pane of the aircraft window.
