Goa, July 9 -- Air India has earned a place among the world's most punctual airlines, becoming the only Indian carrier to feature in the global top five in Cirium's June 2026 On-Time Performance Report. The Tata Group-owned airline secured the fourth position, highlighting its improving operational performance despite increasing congestion across domestic and international airports.

According to the aviation analytics firm's report, Air India recorded an on-time arrival rate of 86.85 per cent across 15,135 tracked flights during June. The airline also achieved an on-time departure rate of 86.23 per cent while maintaining a completion factor of 99.7 per cent, indicating that nearly all scheduled flights operated successfully.
