Goa, July 18 -- Mandrem Police have registered an FIR against 10 persons, including three who have been identified, for allegedly assaulting an advocate during the implementation of court-ordered demolition of an allegedly illegal coastal structure in Morjim.

According to police, advocate Ankur Kumar was facilitating the execution of orders issued by the Supreme Court and the Bombay High Court when he was allegedly attacked by a group of individuals.

Kumar reportedly sustained a fractured eye socket, injuries to his nose, and multiple other wounds in the assault. His vehicle was also allegedly damaged during the incident.
