Baga, Sept. 9 -- A 54-year-old man from Karnataka, identified as Zakeer Khan, died after allegedly slipping on vomit and sustaining an injury to his nose inside a guest house room at Baga, Calangute.

According to reports, Khan was later found unresponsive by his friends, who alerted the authorities. He was taken to the Primary Health Centre (PHC) at Candolim, where doctors declared him brought dead.

The body has been shifted to Goa Medical College and Hospital (GMC), Bambolim, for medico-legal formalities.
