Goa, Oct. 7 -- A four-storey residential building collapsed in Delhi's Seemapuri area on Wednesday afternoon, leaving several people feared trapped under the debris. The Delhi Fire Service received a call about the collapse at around 3:30 pm and rushed four fire tenders to the spot.

A search and rescue operation is underway, with police, MCD officials and the local administration involved. Residents said some people were rescued from the debris, while a local resident claimed that several others could still be trapped.

Jhilmil Municipal Councillor Pankaj Luthra said the building was around 40-50 years old and that four to five people had already been rescued. He said all possible efforts were being made to rescue those trapped.
