Goa, June 23 -- A 22-year-old scooter rider, identified as Ravish Tari, lost his life after the two-wheeler allegedly crashed into a tempo while travelling at high speed.

According to reports, the impact of the collision was severe, resulting in fatal injuries to Tari. He succumbed to his injuries following the accident.

The pillion rider, Laxman Bhosle, sustained serious head injuries in the crash and was rushed to Goa Medical College (GMC) for specialised treatment. His condition is reported to be critical.

Police have registered the case and initiated an investigation to ascertain the exact circumstances that led to the accident.
