Goa, Sept. 18 -- A 17-year-old girl was allegedly sexually assaulted and murdered by four persons, including three minors, in Northwest Delhi, with police stating that the accused later abandoned her body in an open field.

The incident came to light on September 13, when the girl's decomposed body was discovered near Jaipal Rana's field along Kushak Road in the Swaroop Nagar area. Police said the condition of the body was such that its gender could not initially be determined. Parts of the body had also been eaten by stray dogs, while one hand was found separated from the body.
