12 Goan Riders Complete Challenging 2,600-Km Manali-Ladakh Expedition
Panaji, Sept. 4 -- Twelve riders from Goa have successfully completed a challenging 2,600-km Manali-Ladakh circuit, conquering some of the most demanding high-altitude roads in the Himalayas, including the world's highest motorable pass, Umling La at 19,024 feet.
The expedition team comprised Rohan Kumarpant, Mahamed Ashif, Veldroy Fernandes, Samison Fernandes, Truman Fernandes, Rahul Sharma, Babani Kulekar, Smita Kumarpant, Samantha D'Souza, Arvind Patil, Truptesh Patekar and Nigel Fernandes.
