Goa, Sept. 3 -- Rohit Sharma's future in ODI cricket may have become a topic of speculation, but the BCCI has made it clear that there is currently no reason to believe the veteran batter is preparing to retire from the format.

BCCI secretary Devajit Saikia addressed the rumours following a high-level review meeting of the Indian cricket board in Mumbai on Thursday, September 3. Saikia urged people not to fuel unnecessary speculation around Rohit's international future, pointing to the batter's recent performances as evidence of his continued value to the team.
