Goa, May 3 -- Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) wicketkeeper-batter Jitesh Sharma recently sparked debate after describing Vaibhav Sooryavanshi as "unprofessional." The comment, which quickly gained traction on social media, was later clarified by Sharma, who said it stemmed from their close friendship and the youngster's age rather than any criticism of his cricketing abilities.

The remark was originally made during a conversation with RCB legend AB de Villiers on his YouTube channel. Sharma explained that when asked to name a promising young talent, he immediately picked Sooryavanshi, praising his technique, mindset, and work ethic.
